Peoria Veteran Takes Home the Gold at VA’s Golden Age Games - Oliver Harris, a Navy veteran from Peoria, Ariz., recently earned a Gold Medal in Shuffle Board; a Silver Medal in Checkders and two Bronze medals one in Ari Rifle and the second in Dominoes during his recent competition in the 23rd National Veterans Golden Age Games.

Media Advisory for Two VA Supported Events July 4 - The Earl E. Mitchell Patriots Color Guard will be raising the American flag at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center this Independence Day on July 4 at 8 a.m. on the 7th Street side of the VA. At approximately 6 p.m. on July 4, the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) will have staff on hand at the Fabulous Phoenix 4th of July celebration to let Veterans and others know about their services and benefits.
