Psychology Training

The Predoctoral Internship Program is accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). Our next site visit is scheduled for 2019. We offer a 12-month, full-time, APA-approved predoctoral internship in clinical psychology. Our training program offers supervised clinical experiences in Health Psychology, Interprofessional Mental Health, Neuropsychology, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder/Mental Health. Trainees have the opportunity to work with and learn from a large training faculty comprised of 30 licensed psychologists. The Postdoctoral Fellowship program is organized with an overall goal of producing graduates with the broad requisite knowledge, skills, and proficiencies necessary to assume a number of different roles as professional psychologists and the depth of experience to be competent in working with a veteran population of high need within the VA system. Graduating fellows should exhibit behavior that is consistent with professional standards and be able to provide competent assessment, interventions, consultation, and supervision, as well as demonstrate administrative skills and understand the organization within which they work.
