Our normal administrative working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m., closed Saturday, Sunday, and Federal holidays.  Urgent care services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Visiting Hours

1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. daily

Intensive Care Units

Immediate family members may visit at any time; visits will normally be limited to two people for 10 minutes or less.

Seriously Ill List

Family members of veterans listed on the Seriously Ill List may have liberal visiting privileges at the discretion of the Nurse Manager or designee in charge.

Community Living Center (CLC)

1:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. daily

Visitation outside of the regular visiting hours in the NHCU can be made by contacting the NHCU Nurse Manager or designee in charge at (602) 222-6442.

Inpatient Psychiatry

The only authorized visitors on the inpatient psychiatry units are:

• Veterans who have a scheduled outpatient appointment time with a staff member on that ward, or;
  
• Relatives or significant others of current patients on that ward, at the discretion of the Nurse Manager or designee in charge.  

Children Under 12 Years of Age

Children under 12 must be directly supervised by an adult at all times and children visiting any inpatient or other patient care unit are at the discretion of the Nurse Manager or designee in charge of the unit.
