VARO handles GI Bill benefits, home loans and compensation
Due to the storm on August 28, 2008 there has been a power outage at the VA Regional Office in Phoenix, Arizona. The VA Regional Office is located at 3333 N. Central Avenue and handles VA GI Bill benefits, home loans, and disability claims to name a few. As soon as the power is restored, the VARO will be reopening their operations.
In the meantime please note that the VA Hospital on 7th Street and Indian School Road is fully operational for patient medical care operations. Both inpatient and outpatient services are operational however there are some large puddles and debris in the parking lots.
